Ingredients

Fresh basil
De-stemmed

Olive oil

Freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

pine nuts

Salt and fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
Add basil leaves to grinder and crush/blitz
Add rest of ingredients and mix until puree
Store in favourite jar or use fresh
Notes
If storing, use clingwrap and press air out of jar (ending with clingwrap laying on the pesto) to store longer and prevent oxidation from causing the pesto to brown.
